University of Tennessee Weed Diagnostics Center
The University of Tennessee Weed Diagnostics Center (WDC) provides diagnostic testing services for weeds of both crop and non-cropland systems including maintained turfgrass, ornamentals, and utility rights of way. The WDC employs both whole plant and molecular techniques to provide customers with services such as weed identification, herbicide resistance screening, as well as bermudagrass off-type assessment. Results of all diagnostic tests conducted at the WDC are coupled with research-based solutions for managing weeds in the field.
